Résumé

But : Le but de ce travail est d’illustrer la sémiologie des épilepsies temporales à manifestation psychiatrique.
Méthodes : Nous rapportons 7 observations de patients, âgés de 11 à 15 ans, adressés en pédopsychiatrie durant les années 2005 à 2008 pour des tableaux divers et chez qui le diagnostic d’épilepsie temporal a été retenu.
Résultats : Tous les tableaux étaient faits de crises partielles complexes dont certaines étaient secondairement généralisées. Les crises étaient essentiellement psychiques mais associaient toujours à des degrés variables des manifestations sensorielles, motrices ou végétatives. L’épilepsie était idiopathique d’une anomalie neurologique sous-jacente dans deux cas.
Conclusion : Une vigilance accrue doit être accordée aux manifestations paroxystiques atypiques chez l’enfant.
